CLOSED! Uncommonly Cute review & Giveaway!

I am very much into making my kids look super cute. It's almost like a hobby or something, I'm so obsessed with it, lol. I was recently checking out some shops online and came across a company called Uncommonly Cute and instantly was hooked in to their adorable line of shirts for little ones. I can't even tell you how excited I was when I got the chance to review one of their shirts!

Uncommonly Cute specializes in making your lil girl or boy look hip in a shirt that matches your cutie's personality. They have shirts to fit infants up to a size 6. I was told when selecting my shirt that they run a bit small, so since Miss Sassy wears about a 4, I chose the size 6 and it fits beautifully.

The line of shirts all have cute little sayings on them, such as I'm Huge on Twitter, New Sheriff in Town, and Boss for the lil man in your life. And for the girls, some of my favorites are Little Ranch Diva, Miso Cute, and Diva. Of course, that is not all of them. There is lots more to choose from. So many in fact, that's it is really hard to chose one! I finally decided on the perfect one for my little Miss Sassy-pants. And it definitely fits her personality:

It literally fits her to a T! I love the fit of it, and the quality of the shirt is really great. And Miss Sassy loves the shirt, too! She was so proud to wear it, and even model for some pics! Look how cute she is!

Totally adorable, right?? haha!
All in all, I am a huge fan of the shirts at Uncommonly Cute. And guess what's even better?? One of you will WIN a shirt of your choice!! How awesome is that! A little bit about me and my blog...

Hey ya'll! I thought since I've been getting some new friends, I better tell you all about what exactly my blog will be soon. As you know, I just started this in July 2010, and really know very little about blogging. I've been following several blogs for quite some time now, and thought I should try it out myself! I am doing this for different reasons-One, because I need an outlet and other adults to talk to. I'm a SAHM and spend my days literally talking to little kids. I drive my hubby crazy when he gets home from work, practically begging him for some convo. Even though most of the time, I don't have anything interesting to say..since I spent the whole day with toddlers. (I also babysit a little boy). Second, I hope to earn a little bit of extra income. I've read magazine articles on how women have quit their day jobs and made more money from blogging. I doubt I'll get to that point, but if I could earn a little bit to add to the household funds, that would be awesome! I'm still figuring out how exactly to earn the money, so any tips you have, feel free to leave me some tips! (pretty please??) And lastly, the biggest reason for this adventure, is because I have a lot of loves in life, and want to share them with you, and I want to hear back on the things all of you love. I'll be talking about things on kids, parenting, marriage, love, makeup, fashion, hobbies and crafts, cooking and recipes, home decorating and organization, entering giveaways, and probably even a bit of celebrity gossip to name a few of my faves. These are all things I have a huge passion for and I know that you have to love at least one of those things on my list! I want to hear from you what else I have left off that you want me to talk about. Also, I'll be doing product reviews very soon, and once I get enough followers, I'll start doing some awesome giveaways!
So, now you know why you are here, and I hope that you will stick with me while I keep learning how to blog. I still have a long way to go, as you can see, lol! I hopefully will get things figured out sooner than later and will be bringing out the diva in all of you!
I want your input! Let me know what you love, what you want to see here, or whatever you have on your mind! Can't wait to meet all of you!!
Thanks for stopping by, come back soon, and always Bee Cute!!

Summer Bonding with Glue Dots

>

I really enjoy crafting as a hobby. I like to make pretty things for my home, hair bows and tutus for my daughter, and scrapbooking when I have the time. When I find a product that makes my crafting easier and better, I'm all for it! I was recently given the chance to try out Glue Dots from a campaign on Twittermoms. I have to say, I was very excited when I received my package full of the different types Glue Dots makes.

If you are not familiar with Glue Dots, they are just like the name sounds-little adhesive dots! They are so easy to use, even my 3 year old can use them for art projects. They come in a hand held dispenser and all you do is just "roll" them where you want them. It is much easier, not to mention safer for the little ones, to use than a hot glue gun. Also, you don't have to wait for the glue to dry, which is great for impatient people like me! You can learn more about Glue Dots here.

I had many ideas come to mind when thinking of projects to do using my Glue Dots. I finally decided to do a pretty decoupage on canvas for a friend of mine. First I painted the canvas with a wonderful pink. Then I used my Glue Dots to hold my cut-outs onto the canvas. Lastly, I coated a finish over the whole thing and Done!! I think it turned out really great, and the Glue Dots worked perfectly. It was really nice not having to wait for the glue to dry for me to finish it up. What do ya think??

<

I really love the Glue Dots, and have used them for other things already. My daughter has a wooden hanging on her bedroom door that would bang everytime the door shut. I put a few Glue Dots on the back of the plaque and stuck it right to the door. No more banging!! They will not damage the door when its time to remove them. Also, my kids both have used them to make collages. There are numerous ways to use them!!
